Do you feel a bit desperate, especially around the holidays? Everyone seems to have someone at this time of year. Vacations can be a time lonely.

Sometimes I refer to smell "of despair. It is not actually emitting an unpleasant odor. It's how they behave in the presence of a woman that is the gift. Desperation can be overt, but above all are the subtle things that may not be aware that the smell of desperation.

Women are a hundred times better at reading body language than men. Do not ask me why or how … they just are. Knowing that, you better tune your body language … and head.

Your posture says a lot about you across a room. Stand straight and lift your chest and chin. Do not take a position as Superman, but the least try to look confident. But do not hide around like you're doing an imitation of James Dean.

When meeting a woman, warm smile and make eye contact. Do not look down on the chest, even if it is a good view. Explore the face with his eyes.

Lean back slightly … unless loud and horrible it is trying to hear. But only lean forward enough to say what to say. Then lean back and get to read for you. Too far forward may seem to be leaning in his presentation. Leaning back is a sign of confidence and strength.

No matter how nervous you are, everything slower. Do not let your eyes move back and forth. Slow movements convey self control and confidence.

Being a little smug. Have an opinion, have some standards. Women like a challenge both as a man. They already know they have the power to shoot down. Women do not like a man … at least not wussy any woman worth knowing. (If you do not know what a "wussy" the man is probably already have one.)

Being a little funny. Everyone feels more comfortable around another person who makes them feel good. Humor always does that.

Do not ask for her digits or email address very soon. That is desperate.

Use your name over and over again in his conversation with her. Everyone likes to hear his name spoken by others. Simply do not go overboard.

Practice this stuff every time you get a chance. That's the only way to get better at it. If you get good at it, despair is only a memory.

Self-assured man can become great lovers.
