How do you feel about your best friend dating his ex-girlfriend?

Only recently broke up with my girlfriend of four years, also engaged. Things did not work out and 2 weeks after the break, who discover they have something to do. yeah it sucks. That happened to me about 2 years ago. So I ended up with this girl (my first love) for stupid reasons, assuming that we'll be together later next week and I found that they saw each other behind me, but also I found another good friend of mine who were joking when we were still dating. I was very upset at the time and cut all contact with both. I avoided going out with some friends, because I knew he would be there and everything. Well, about 6 months ago I heard from my ex for the 1st time since we parted, and invited me to dinner. He had begun to see this very attractive girl and was happy with my life, and I had spent a long time, let the situation go, so we decided to meet with her. She told me that he and my former friend dated for several months, but it broke and it was nothing like what we had and all that and asked if I was interested in reviving things between us. So with a big smile on my face and told me he was dating someone and had my life online and was very happy with where I am in my life.
